2017 Music Academy of Villecroze

Through its range of activities and events, the Académie seeks to foster and develop, each year, the talents of young musicians.

From September 7th to 16th, artist André Cazalet will give a 10-days masterclass during the Académie!

The selected applicants will be invited to participate in a 10-day master class in Villecroze, in the heart of Provence, 100 kilometres west of Nice. Tuition, room & board are free of charge for participants.

If you’re interested, please follow the procedure below to apply (application deadline: Wednesday 7 June).

Applicants

All applications must include the following

• a curriculum vitae
• a 15-minute audio recording: CD, MP3 or M4A
• two letters of reference, written specifically for this master class
• a passport photo (4 x 5 cm maximum)
• a photocopy of your passport or national ID card
• a photocopy of your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or proof of health insurance

Applicants requesting financial assistance for transport must also include:

• a cover letter explaining the applicant’s motivation for participating in the master class
• a letter from the applicant’s teacher explaining the need for financial assistance
• a cost estimate for the most reasonable fare for transport to the Nice-Côte d’Azur Airport

Requests for financial travel assistance which are incomplete or which are not sent with the application will be disregarded.
